Miranda Kerr buys beachfront home in Malibu

Putting all the Bloom-Bieber drama from the recent couple of weeks behind her, Australian catwalk queen Miranda Kerr has reportedly just bought a rather modest but luxurious property overlooking the ocean in Malibu, California.

The thirty-one year-old beauty, who ranked second last year in Forbes list of highest-paid mannequins, purchased the three bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home with a picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean for $2.15 million dollars, according to Variety magazine. Described as a micro-compound, the approximately 1,700 square-foot property was built in 1960 and features a detached poolside guesthouse.

Following the news, Kerr took to Instagram on Wednesday (August 6th) and shared a photo with her 4.6 million followers which sees her strolling along a brick road near her new house as the ocean’s waves crash in the backdrop. “California dreaming,” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel captioned the scenic photo.
