Kate Moss stars in new campaign for pal Stella McCartney

Aside from being two of the United Kingdom’s most celebrated fashion icons, designer Stella McCartney and supermodel Kate Moss are also long-time friends, so it is a no-brainer for the latter to star in the latest campaign for the former’s eponymous brand.

Needless to say, the forty year-old stunner has graced Stella McCartney advertisements a total of six times previously (the last being for its Spring/Summer 2009 collection). Framed inside zippered landscapes which stand for the designer’s commitment to the environment, Moss is captured by noted photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott as she showcases the Autumn/Winter 2014 offering.

McCartney herself styled the Croydon-born mannequin for the campaign which features an accompanying short film titled “Kate Dreams.” The advertisements will begin to appear in September’s fashion publications.
