Christy Turlington covers British Vogue

The British edition of Vogue unveils its Ageless Style issue for July 2014, and who better to grace the cover than the age-defying American supermodel Christy Turlington?

The forty-five year-old beauty makes her triumphant return to the front of the United Kingdom’s fashion bible after missing in action for eighteen years (her previous UK cover being in 1996). Wearing minimal make-up and looking ever so lovely in a mohair wool white swater by Acne Studios, Turlington was shot by Patrick Demarchelier for the London-based glossy which features an exclusive interview with the supermodel.

The French fashion photographer also captured the legendary mannequin’s first ever British Vogue cover exactly twenty-eight years ago, in 1986 (also for the month of July). The California-born fashion icon has a total of fifteen covers of the said fashion bible under her belt.
