Robyn Lawley to join the Sports Illustrated model lineup

In hopes of following in Kate Upton‘s footsteps and landing a spot in the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, Australian plus-size model-of-the-moment Robyn Lawley attended a casting call earlier this week for next year’s edition of the publication.

The twenty-four year-old beauty, who is famous for her “beyond size 10” curves, shared a selfie via her official Instagram account on Monday. The snap shows the six-foot-two-inch stunner donned in a fringed black top and a golden necklace at the Sports Illustrated office posing in front of the magazine’s iconic red and white logo just before her exciting appointment.

Lawley, who is featured in Swim Daily‘s Casting Call section which includes Q&As with models hoping to be chosen for 2015, is no stranger to appearing in important fashion publications. But gracing the pages of the glossy would be a huge step in her career, as it rarely stars plus-size mannequins.
