Bridal Spring 2015 Runs the Gamut
Marchesa has the market cornered on romantic bridal gowns. Their latest bridal collection had a blissful peasant-girl vibe, full of long lacy gowns and wispy hair styles. In lieu of jewelry and accessories, models wore white, floral crowns.
Amsale’s bridal collection included a healthy balance of intricate and minimalistic gowns. The princess ball-gown style dresses had a plethora of tulle, lace and delicate appliques near the bust. At the other end of the spectrum, the more simple gowns had straight silhouettes and were free of any crystal embellishments or lace appliques. To keep focus on the gowns, models had a simple side part and a bold red lip.
It was a bridal collection fit for the 1960’s at Angel Sanchez. From head to toe, models were ready for a totally mod wedding with large beehive hair, a micro-mini wedding dress, and pointed high heels. The collection also featured lacy shawls and a white checkered pattern.
>One of the stand-out trends at Bridal 2015 was an absence of actual jewelry. Instead, several collections opted for neck, hand, or arm pieces. Reem Acra, Angel Sanchez and Naeem Khan opted for these types of accessories.
