Issa Lish covers Italian Vogue
Mexican newcomer Issa Lish lands on her first ever magazine cover for Vogue, and not just any Vogue, but the Italian edition, which is considered the best version of the most sought-after fashion bible.
Shot from above by none other than the noted American fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the raven-haired beauty, who was discovered in her native Mexico City by an agent from Wanted Model Management, is displayed on the front of the Milan-based publication’s April 2014 number, while giving the camera genius (and Vogue regular) a demure stare as he works his magic.
Fashionably donned in an exquisite flower and feather-embellished white and beige ensemble, the statuesque eighteen year-old mannequin is seen lying on her back atop a black and white hexagon grid-patterned floor as the five-foot-eleven-inch tall model pose alongside a male counterpart on the cover of the magazine which includes the sub caption “Cinematic.”
