Gisele Bundchen’s LA mansion for sale
Brazilian supermodel Gisele BA?ndchen and her American NFL quarterback-husband Tom Brady have put their exquisite Los Angeles mansion up for grabs for anyone willing to dish out just a mere $50 million USD.
Construction of the fortress-inspired mansion began back in 2008, and after five years, the famous couple want to get the now complete eco-friendly estate out of their hands. The thirty-three year-old model and the thirty-six year-old sportsman reportedly bought the land which holds the house for $11 million USD, and have additionally spent nearly double that amount during the process of construction.
Complete with solar panels, composting, a mini farm, and greywater systems, the beautiful 14,000 square-foot estate, which features five bedrooms and nine bathrooms, was designed by architect Richard Landry and decorated by interior designer Joan Behnke. Nonetheless, Bundchen and Brady, who tied the knot back in 2009, are said to have begun building another mega mansion, this time in the New England Patriots star’s hometown, where they plan on settling full-time.
“I want to live in a place that feels like a real home, where you can put your feet up on the couch and just relax,” the mother-of-two told Architectural Digest about the California house back in October of 2013. “Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids. We built this house as a sanctuary for our family – a place where we can enjoy being together,” added the athlete.
