Carol Alt slams Kate Upton

Legendary American supermodel Carol Alt was recently interviewed by online news site The Huntington Post. During her live chat with HuffPost Live host Ahmed Shihab-Eldi, the 53 year-old stunner explained how eating raw has changed her life for the better, and was later asked to share her thoughts on some of the Sports Illustrated models of today.

“What I don’t understand with Kate is what’s all the hullabaloo,” said the blue-eyed brunette, regarding one of the most talked about Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers of all time, which features the curvacious Kate Upton. Alt, who first appeared in the famous publication in 1981 and garnered publicity after she landed on the cover of the said magazine the following year, continued saying that all other Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models deserve equal recognition as Upton.

“I like Kate, she’s a pretty girl, but all the girls are nice, and all the girls are pretty. Every cover, to me, deserves to be talked about,” said the Queens-born beauty. “I think what it is is that, in this moment, there’s just so much social media and that’s why she’s had more word of mouth than anybody,” added Alt, about the hype surrounding Kate Upton, who has graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover for two consecutive years, 2012 and 2013, and also scored a flip cover this year.
