Swimsuit models galore at Sports Illustrated bash
Sports Illustrated hosted yet another party post the release of the hotly anticipated 50th anniversary issue of the famous Swimsuit Edition on Wednesday, February 19th. It was a delightfully eye-catching parade of supermodels at the event’s red carpet to celebrate the release of the iconic publication’s half-century edition, which hit newsstands the previous day.
The cover girl trio Lily Aldridge, Nina Agdal and Chrissy Teigen proudly showed off copies of the magazine as they posed for photographers. Aldridge, who is a newcomer to the SI Swimsuit family, was donned in lust red from top to bottom, in a two-piece outfit that consisted of a cropped top and a knee-length pencil skirt. Adding height with black high-heeled sandals, Agdal opted for a simple black and white polka-dotted form-hugging dress and wore her blonde hair in a top bun. Teigen wore a chic two-piece ensemble in two tones; apricot pink and turquoise blue, as well as nude-colored stilettos that matched those of fellow model Aldridge.
Joining the cover girl trinity, a whopping number of twenty-two other dazzling swimsuit models who have graced the pages of the popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition also attended the beauty-filled event held at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort hotel, for a total of twenty-five showstopping stunners.
Among the model attendees were Anastasia Ashley, Anne Vyalitsyna, Ariel Meredith, Bregje Heinen, Chanel Iman, Cris Urena, Emily DiDonato, Emily Ratajkowski, Genevieve Morton, Gigi Hadid, Hannah Davis, Hannah Ferguson, Irina Shayk, Jessica Gomes, Kate Bock, Kate Upton, Lauren Mellor, Marloes Horst, Natasha Barnard, Samantha Hoopes, Sara Sampaio and Valerie van der Graaf.
