Nina, Lily and Chrissy cover the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition

The wait is over. The 50th anniversary issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition has been unveiled. The 2014 cover of the much anticipated yearly publication features three times the beauty with Nina Agdal, Lily Aldridge and Chrissy Tiegen.

Shot in the Cook Islands, the bikini clad trio show off their stunning physiques as they pose topless with a hand on one another, only donned in tiny swimsuit bottoms in orange and pink. Captured by the lens of photographer James Macari, the sunkissed beauties replace Kate Upton, who has been the cover girl for a consecutive two years, as they flash a sexy smile over the shoulder to the camera for this year’s anniversary special cover.

Although a first timer in the pages of the popular magazine, that didn’t stop the Victoria’s Secret angel Lily Aldridge from also gracing the cover of the publication; something quite remarkable, as it hasn’t been achieved by a rookie since 1998, when Heidi Klum made her debut for Sports Illustrated.
