Dolce and Gabbana star, David Gandy went for the classic black tux and bow tie look as he attended the VIP Gala Dinner for the Scottish Fashion Awards at Dover House in Central London. The newly single male model looked smashing as he smouldered at the cameras on arrival at the venue. Rumour has it that the model and girlfriend of five months, Samantha Barks have called it quits due to conflicting schedules. No problems David, we know of many who’ll gladly step into Samantha’s shoes!

Also present was Scottish Model of the Year, Mary Chateris who looked gorgeous and model perfect in a floor-sweeping metallic grey dress and added a touch of hippie flair by donning a band of flowers in her hair.

TV presenter, Laura Whitmore showed off her style sense by wearing a short black dress with sheer panels across the chest and midriff area. The strappy black platform shoes with ankle straps were to die-to-for and the accessories simple, just a small black clutch and a thin gold bracelet but the dazzling smile said a thousand words.

Others who attended the star-studded affair were Edinburgh-born actress Louise London, Scottish TV presenter Jenni Falconer and Christopher Kane who was named Scottish Designer of the Year. Chanel was awarded the International Designer of the Year for best use of Scottish textiles in their Metiers D’Art Paris-Edinburgh collection.

It was a fashion blast folks and those who attended had a good time.
