Helena Christensen puts ‘the best body in the world’ on display
Helena Christensen turned 44 in December and for most models that’s the ‘past the shelf-life’ date but not for the Danish beauty Helena whom Gianni Versace called ‘the best body in the world.’
The sultry model proved that she keeps getting better with age by baring all for the FutureClaw Magazine and to say she looked and looks fantastic would be an understatement. In one shot, the model is seen au naturel and striking a perfect pose sitting on a chair, in another she is seen wearing a black strapless bra and protecting her modesty with a swan figurine and yet in another, she hoists up her dress to flash her still perfect derriere. There are many more photographs in the same vein with the model looking like she hadn’t aged at all and it’s easy to see why Versace called her ‘the best body in the world!’
Helena who has never been married told the magazine in an interview that if a man wants to be her boyfriend, he should make her, ‘laugh, love and feel.’ Perhaps not in that order……moving on. She went on to say that all the women in Helmut Newton’s pictures deserve the ‘best body’ title. She went on to explain why by saying, ‘They were long, lean, toned and yet feminine and curvaceous,’ and added that she considered Marilyn Monroe one of her favourite icons and Jean Seberg and Jane Birkin are right up there as well. She said, ‘Their style is effortless, personal and greatly compliment their personalities.’
The supermodel was tops in the 1990s and has still got what it takes to grab your attention, clothed or unclothed. Perhaps the fashion industry should re-think their stance on when a model should be put out to pasture as the new crop of supermodels are looking better and better with age and that folks is the honest truth.
