Heidi Klum gets a surprise at Germany’s Next Top Model finale
Heidi Klum looked gorgeous dressed in a pink cut-out gown with her hair pulled back into a no-nonsense pony and wearing huge hoops in her ears as she greeted fans and onlookers alike in Mannheim for the Germany’s Next Top Model finale on Thursday.
German-born Heidi was all smiles as she watched over her finalists like a protective mother hen and clucked over them as they took to the stage. All was well and going as planned when suddenly two topless female protesters stormed the stage and presented their messages boldly scrawled on their naked chests. One said, “Heidi Horror Picture Show” and the other, “Sadistic Show.” Obviously the protesters themselves didn’t know what they wanted to say! Security men dashed on to the stage but it was minutes before they carried the women off stage, obviously they had a hard time figuring out where to place their hands. Heidi, always the “professional” stood her ground and feigned ignorance. The show continued with no further interruptions and 16-year-old Lovelyn Enebechi garnered the coveted title with Maike van Grieken as runner-up. It was tears, surprise and applause as the contestants took to the stage as Heidi mimicked the emotions effortlessly. Another season took a final spin and closed with pomp and circumstance. Is it just us or did Heidi look much smaller than the finalists? Until next time, have a great day.
