London Fashion Week – Burberry Prorsum F/W 2013/14
Under the slogan „Trench Kisses” models walked the runway for popular Burberry Prorsum, presented by chief creative officer Christopher Bailey in the pavilion in Hyde Park, London.
Animal prints and heart pattern designs were dominating at the recent fall/winter – collection 2013 – 2014. The classic Burberry trench coat was displayed in several variations, partly refined by belts in metallic look and leather stripes. Strong colors like signal red gave harmony to the terrific outfits contrasted by calming colors like red brown, camel and sand.
Beside the models a lot of beautiful women spangled the front row. Freida Pinto, Melanie Laurent, Kate Beckinsale, Olivia Palermo and many, many more familiar faces were seen and especially Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attracted glances by a signal red trouser suit.
For the musical entertainment, “Happy Together” by Misty Miller contributed to the sentimental component of the collection. Stunning was the Live Performance of British singer Tim Odell, who was accompanied by chorus singers, dressed in black trench coats, of course!
It was an impressive and awesome show, as expected by the fashion scene. The established and classy style of Burberry runs like a golden thread through the whole collection.
