Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?
“The Face” the new reality series launched its premiere at the Marquee in New York on Tuesday and the supermodels were there to show full support and leading the pack were model mentor and judges, Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova.
Each were dressed to kill in their own way. Naomi wore a tight white mermaid-style dress that showed off her curves in all the right places and we might add, her top styled hair was perfectly in place as well as she beamed for the cameras. Coco Rocha showed off her vintage side in a black sequined number with sheer transparent panels and paired it with wavy hair and bright red lipstick, the 50s look with a little bit of Dita von Teese thrown in for good measure. Karolina Kurkova wore a blue fringed dress that showed off her legs but in our book, she could have done better in the dress department, that is.
The models posed with Nigel Barker, former America’s Next Top Model judge, and current host of the new show. He was obviously in good spirits as he smiled and put on a show with wife Cristen for the photographers. The three supermodels will compete to find the new face of ULTA beauty from contestants vying for the title and the much awaited show will air on Oxygen on February 12th.
So, who’s the fairest of them all? Our pick is Naomi Campbell. She oozed pure olde-world glamour as she sizzled in white flaunting diamonds and drapped in a cream colored fur coat. The diva has spoken and she came to conquer and she did. There’s no denying the fact that Naomi still has her “uber” supermodel clout and that is the honest truth.
