It’s rehab time for Naomi Campbell
Just days after making an appearance at the NBC Universal 2013 TCA Winter Press Tour Party where she was seen wearing flat shoes instead of her mile-high heels, supermodel Naomi Campbell is back on the mend and with that comes rehabilitation.
Ms Campbell was seen doing her rehab in the Miami area and it looked like she was ready to “bust a move.” Dressed in burgundy colored cropped Nike workout pants and a matching top she did a brisk walk while checking her messages on her mobile phone. During a press conference on Monday, she issued this statement. “I had an injury of my knee and I am on the mend. I cannot discuss any further as there is an investigation.”
The incident took place in the Rue de Moussey district just off the Rue de Rivoli in Paris on November 21. Details are sketchy but it is being reported that Ms Campbell was sitting in a limousine when two men on a motorbike tried to snatch her handbag. According to the report, nothing was taken but the violent attack left her in a wheelchair. She was flown to Colorado where she was treated by J. Richard Steadman, a world renowned orthopedic surgeon. Luckily for her, she’s back on her feet and rehab will get her back to those mile-high heels that she loves so much.
If there’s one thing we know about Ms Campbell, it’s this. She takes things in her stride and moves on from one experience to the next with just the shrug of her shoulder and a huff.
