Kardashians stormed into London to promote their “Kardashian” Kollektion
They are larger than life and they are cashing in on their good looks and their hit reality series, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” is a major hit. So, what’s left to do? As is often the case with celebrities who have time, money and hysterical fans on their side, they decide to branch out. In the case of the Kardashians, they have put their collective brains and hands to designing the “Kardashian Kollektion” for Dorothy Perkins and it is taking the world by storm or for now at least London is caught in its frenzied success. The Kardashian clan stormed in like Hurricane Sandy but on a smaller scale and left Kardashian wannabes battered and bruised in their search for a piece of the action.
The sister threesome are hyping it to the max. Kim and Kourtney swept into Heathrow last Wednesday accompanied by security personnel, assistants, hair and make-up teams and of course, advisors. You would have thought that “royalty” had swept into town but it was only the Kardashian siblings with their over-sized images. Khloe arrived on Friday looking as fashionable as always.
It is rumored that the Kardashians have created over 100 pieces for the Kollektion and in London, they gave numerous interviews, made nightclub appearances and hosted a VIP party to promote the line. They swept into London wielding “Kardashian power” and added to their already full koffers when they left. It was a madhouse as hysterical fans turned out in droves to see the sisters as they launched their clothing line at Westfield Shopping Centre in West London. Kim later tweeted on her website, “My sisters and I honestly can’t thank you all enough for your support today. The turnout at Westfield was beyond anything any of us had expected. It was a pleasure meeting everyone today. Thank you London, we love you!”
It is amazing what stunning long hair, good looks, in Kim’s case an over-sized derriere and Kourtney’s pout can do in this day and age. It all goes to spell mega-success. They’ve endorsed everything from diet pills, jeans, jewellery, make-up, perfume and now, their very own clothing line. What’s next on the agenda? World domination perhaps?
