Who says supermodels don’t eat?
They’re known for their drop-dead gorgeous bodies and most times say that they stick to a strict diet of nutritious foods and grueling workouts but they too have their off days and it was one of those days for supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.
The Brazilian beauty and mother-of-two Alessandra has said that she does yoga and Pilates to keep herself fighting fit. She is model ready and fit to walk any catwalk so it was time to cut some slack. Dressed in a short red and black floral skirt and a black sleeveless top and black ankle boots, the gorgeous model was seen enjoying a tasty piece of snack in Santa Monica. Alessandra was all smiles as she stopped at a local store and browsed through the magazine rack paying particular attention to the latest issue of Vogue as she licked her lips to show that she could drop off the “stay fit” wagon if given a chance. But then again, supermodels are known for their will power especially when it comes to their angelic bodies. And she’s no different.
Earlier in the day, Alessandra had shot a new TV commercial for the Victoria’s Secret label featuring clothes from their new fitness line. She showed off her fit figure wearing a pair of tight black workout pants and a pink and white top. Keeping her cool by sipping on iced tea, the model tweeted: “Shooting on the streets of Venice. Bom dia everybody!! @Victoriassecret mobile changing room on the streets of Venice.” The changing room was a hastily constructed green tent made out of plastic but it did help protect her modesty as she changed into different outfits.
As to keeping fit, the much in -demand model has said that besides her workouts which she sticks to religiously, she also watches what she eats. She said, “I like to wake up and have eggs Benedict with a cappuccino and orange juice. And then for lunch, I’ll have rice, beans and chicken or meat. And salad because I love salad. At night time I would have Japanese food, like sushi or some Japanese barbeque.” She has also said that she has a food weakness, it comes in the form of chocolate fondues and chips with salt and vinegar. “I’ll go into the airport and buy like three bags of them. And I can’t help myself.”
It’s those genes again…..some folks are just born lucky and you know who we mean.
