Style File: Heidi Klum at Cannes
Heidi Klum‘s stay in Cannes might have been short but she still managed to make it unforgettable. To turn all attentions to her at the events she attended, she relied on her risky, breathtaking, wardrobe choices. Dress by dress, her day in Cannes went from a lunch at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s yatch to the amFAR Cinema Against AIDS annual ball.
Lunch at Kim and Kanye’s yatch
Heidi and Kim bonded last year when the Reality TV star appeared as a guest judge on Heidi’s Project Runway. As the two ladies have been good friends ever since, there was no way Heidi wasn’t invited to Kim’s yatch party! Gracefully, the supermodel honoured her hosts in a pretty breezy dress that consisted of silvery white petals. The sheerness of the skirt flashed a hint of her legs, adding lightness to the frock. Embracing the French chic spirit, she finished the look placing a chain belt on her hips and walking in eyecatching silver flat sandals.
The Paperboy Premiere
No star goes to Cannes without stepping a glamorous foot on the red carpet! Keeping her colour palette in silver hues, Miss Klum dazzled in a long, backless, Marchesa gown. Together with Nicole Kidman, the film’s leading lady, in Lanvin, the German stunner brought sensuality back to the festival. Although both of them looked amazing, the richness in metallic detailling allowed Heidi to outshine Nicole!
The amFAR Cinema Against AIDS annual ball
Definitely, silver was Heidi’s colour for Cannes. And, since it matched her honey blonde hair and naturally tanned skin in a very flattering way, she made a good choice.
Her last outfit of the night was, by far, the most risky and likely to be criticized, due to its extreme transparency. The only things covering her modesty were well placed embroideries. Just like a nymph, Heidi posed to photographers and moved around gracefully, showing no self conciousness at all.
She matched her ethereal gown with strappy silver heels, subtle jewels, a clean hairstyle and a luminous, minimal, make-up.
As she picked a lovely series of long, silvery and floating dresses, Heidi Klum delighted Cannes as a charming breeze under the moonlight.
