Lara Stone radiant with her first Vogue Netherlands cover!
Unlike her fellow model Coco Rocha, Lara Stone is celebrating her latest magazine cover. After collecting Vogue covers in the UK, France, Turkey, Russia, Japan and China, the Dutch stunner has just added her native country’s glossy fashion bible’s front to her vast curriculum.
Vogue Netherlands came to life last April, which means Stone is not only the second ever covergirl but also the first one to grace the latest member of Vogue’s family cover solo! With more than reasons to be thrilled, Lara tweeted: “Yay! My 1st (their 2nd) VogueNL cover” @NLvogue.”
Last night, the big milestone was properly celebrated by the model and a friend at Nobu, a Japanese eatery in London. Sexy and chic, she wore a sheer black vest that exposed her bra underneath, a leather high-waisted skirt and a grey fur coat. The party outifit was completed with a black clutch and peep-toe heels. Lara’s husband was not spotted, so it was a night for the girls!
The magazine will be out tomorrow with a seductive Lara Stone charming every possible buyer. The cover features the model’s fair face with stricking eyes, embelished with a thick layer of black mascara, loosely framed by her pulled back blonde locks. The final touch of charm is added by a sparkling necklace grounded on her chest.
Besides the cover shoot, Lara was also the subject of an interview, in which she talked about some important issues of her personal and professional life. She spoke about the ideal moment to have children with her husband, David, revealed the reason why she does not drink alcohol and discussed her success in the modeling industry, saying: “You should not wish to define yourself through this work. Many girls do that. I’m at a point in my life that I think: what if it all ends – what do I do?”
