Adriana vs. Doutzen
The Sports issue of V Magazine transformed a girls’ fight into a fashion editorial, featuring Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes as fierce rivals. Styled by Nicola Formichetti, the two Victoria’s Secret models traded their usually sexy lingerie for more hardcore boxing inspired little clothes.
If the outfits looked provocative, the models’ agressiveness surpassed them. And all of that headed straight to Mario Testino’s lens, resulting in pictures that carried a lot of strength. Seen on the models’ more muscular-than-usual bodies, that particular strength became a huge force of tension whenever the girls interacted. The final result as super-heroic as harshly sexy.
