Jessica Stam is latest COVERGIRL
Jessica Stam replaces Taylor Swift to be the latest CoverGirl. The last few rounds of CoverGirl’s have been singers and actresses but it’s refreshing to see a model (apart from those who win the America’s Next Top Model competition) take the lead after quite some time now. Stam is strikingly beautiful sporting a bright red lip in the new campaign. We’re used to seeing CoverGirl with bright colorful ads but this one is more subdued and uses a black background that draws direct attention to Stam’s gorgeous blue eyes.
The new campaign includes runway shades created by make-up artist Pat McGrath, and will include how-to videos by Jessica Stam and Pat McGrath. The two have been working on the collaboration for quite some time now and the finished product is gaining expected momentum. Pat McGrath is an established make-up artist whose clients include Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, Cate Blanchett and Jessica Stam, as well as her work for the Balenciaga, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Miu Miu shows. CoverGirl held an event on Friday where McGrath showed attendees the latest beauty trends on the runway and how to work them into your everyday life.
