Maggie Rizer soon to be a model mom

Supermodel Maggie Rizer, 33, and her husband, businessman Alex Mehran, are expecting their first child together, she announced on her blog friday. The beautiful baby will be due this Autumn.

“Alex and I couldn’t possibly be more excited! We will be welcoming a baby boy this November,” the American soon-to-be mother wrote.

“We’ve been having lots of fun these past few months getting ready for the new arrival and will be sure to let you know how things are with our ever-growing family.”

One member of the family, however, is apparently not as thrilled about the news as the couple is.

“Bea is a little upset, as she hoped to be gaining a little sister rather than another brother… but we told her to keep her paws up for the next time around,” Rizer wrote about her dog.

Rizer and Mehran got married late last year in Lake Placid, New York, and it looks like parenthood has already sent a few surprises their way.
