Miranda Kerr Brings the Ballet to New York’s Met Gala

Miranda Kerr is a ‘lioness’ in the eyes of her husband Orlando Bloom

But for one night she was a prima ballerina as she attended the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala this evening in New York City.

The 28-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, who had pulled her brown hair back into a sleek chignon, looked like she had stepped straight out of the ballet Swan Lake in her white strapless tulle and lace creation which flared outwards at the waist. Her look was completed by a matching jewelled purse and beautiful laced shoes.

Miranda and actor Orlando looked happy and relaxed as they posed for photographs on the red carpet.

Despite giving birth to their baby son Flynn in January, Miranda has already returned to work as a model, much to the surprise of her husband.

‘She is a little insane,’ he told Ellen DeGeneres recently. ‘She’s of her own mind.’

He also praised the model’s svelte appearance following the birth of Flynn, saying ‘’She looks incredible, a lot of breast-feeding.’

After a four year hiatus from Hollywood, the 34-year-old thespian has also made a return to work

He is one of the stars of Sympathy for Delicious, along with Mark Ruffalo and Laura Linney.
