Alessandra Ambrosio Spends One Day in the Brazilian Sun

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio is enjoying a Spring break back in her homeland Brazil.

The 30-year-old beauty sunned herself poolside at a hotel in Rio De Janiero yesterday, also spending time cooling off in the water.

Alessandra showed off her beautifully lean and toned physique in a red bikini consisting of a bandeau top and tiny low cut bikini bottoms. She topped up her tan whilst texting on her phone.

Alessandra had flown in to attend an amfAR gala in Sao Paulo at which she was honoured with the Piaget Award of Inspiration for her work towards raising awareness for AIDS/HIV.

Other stars at the event included actress Claire Danes and singer Jennifer Hudson, who were also honoured with awards for their contributions to charity.

All three celebs turned up to the gala in couture Calvin Klein Collection gowns.

The next day the model was back on a plane and jetting back to Los Angeles where she lives most of the time.

Posting a message on Twitter she expressed her delight about being back home.

‘Back in the US,’ she tweeted, following it up with photos from the gala of her in a floor length black sleek-looking strapless dress with leather trim.
