Scary-looking air kiss by Naomi Campbell at Fashion For Relief

naomi

Supermodel Naomi Campbell had invited Jo Wood and a host of fashionistas to the launch of a Fashion For Relief pop-up shop in London’s Westfield in aid of the Prince’s Trust. She’s got one of fashion’s most ferocious reputations – but supermodel Naomi Campbell was actually all sweetness and light when she greeted Jo Wood last night, despite her approach appearing somewhat scary. The 40-year-old looked as if she was making a lunge for Ronnie Wood’s 55-year-old ex-wife – but in fact was launching two big smackers firmly on Wood’s cheeks to say hello.

Also at the gala launch for the Fashion For Relief pop-up shop in Westfield shopping centre in London was Ronnie’s current squeeze, 31-year-old Brazilian polo coach Ana Araujo. The shop was the idea of the ever-stunning Campbell, who donated some of her own couture clothes for the cause. Jodie Kidd, Leah Weller, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Poppy Delevigne and Donna Air were among the other fashionistas there to launch the one-week only outlet that will sell catwalk pieces with all proceeds going to the Prince’s Trust.

Westfield in west London’s Shepherd’s Bush has teamed up with Campbell for the venture, which has seen the supermodel and designers including Victoria Beckham donate clothes that were worn on the catwalk last year. Other top pieces up for grabs at a bargain price include Burberry trenches, as well as gowns by Vivienne Westwood, including one worn by Campbell herself.

Guests at the special preview launch of the pop-up store at Westfield included Ronnie Wood’s girlfriend Ana Araujo, left, and Sophie Ellis Bextor Alexander McQueen pieces worn on the last Fashion for Relief night in memory of the late designer will also be included.

Other items on offer at knock-down prices include a Tom Ford suit donned by David Walliams, a Christopher Kane gown worn by

Amanda Holden and a red dress worn by Kim Cattrall in Sex and the City. Any dedicated followers of fashion should get down to the shopping centre before the pop-up shop closes its doors on April 14.
