Driving, Miss Daisy? But you haven’t passed your test

Daisy Lowe has been blogging to friends and followers about the joys of driving her new Range Rover through London – but they might be advised to take her stories with a pinch of salt because she hasn’t passed her driving test.
On the company’s website, 21-year-old Daisy – one of the faces of the new Evoque 4×4 – plots her top driving routes through London, describing her favourite as being to Hyde Park to take her dog for a walk after breakfast at the Giraffe restaurant in Chelsea.
However, a source said: ‘Daisy hasn’t got past the theory test stage yet.
She was hoping she could finally take the full driving test last week but it was called off because of snow.’
Daisy, daughter of Gavin Rossdale of rock band Bush and fashion designer Pearl Lowe, was chosen to spearhead publicity for the new car along with Victoria Beckham and singer Solange Knowles.
‘A 4×4 would have been the perfect vehicle to drive in this icy weather – but without a licence she won’t be sent a car,’ said the source.
Until then, it seems, Daisy and dog face long, chilly walkies.
