Kate Moss wears her favourite ?3,500 leather trousers

As one of the world’s most famous models Kate Moss has access to a mind-boggling array of designer clothes.
But there’s no doubting what the favourite item is in her vast wardrobe right now.
Her stylish Balmain leather trousers, cost ?3,500 in the designer label’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection but she’s been wearing them for almost two years.
Kate, 34, teamed them with a plain white top, a black blazer and another black jacket, with leaf detailing, thrown over the top as she went to a party at a friend’s house in North London.
She accessorised the outfit with a pair of black boots, a grey belt and a matching grey bag.
Accompanied by Dave Gardner, who is David Beckham’s best friends, Kate looked tanned and refreshed having just returned from a holiday in Peru.
She stayed with friend and renowned photographer Mario Testino, who was born in the South American country.
It’s not the first time Kate has been pictured wearing the Balmain trousers.
Just a few weeks ago she wore them during an Easter break in Paris with fiance Jamie Hince.
She also sported them during Paris Fashion Week in March 2009, at late designer Alexander McQueen’s birthday party the same month and in September 2008.
Of course, bearing in mind Kate’s wealth it’s unlikely that she has been wearing the same pair, but she obviously likes their timeless style.
Meanwhile an exhibition in France detailing the career of the supermodel has been cancelled after organisers failed to get sponsors.
The Parisian museum Les Arts Decoratifs was due to showcase the most iconic photos from the catwalk queen’s career in the Kate Moss Myth in November this year.
However, the museum has been forced to push back the exhibition until next March, because sponsors cannot afford to cover the show’s costs.
A spokesperson told the Daily Express: ‘Cultural patronage is not a priority for companies.’
