Karlie Kloss In Teen Vogue: 17-Year-Old Supermodel Trades Catwalk For Football Field

Karlie Kloss was most recently spotted kicking it with Molly Sims in NYC, just after she reigned over the haute couture catwalks and booked the most Vogue editorials of 2009. Just a regular couple of months in the life of one of the most-sought-after models. But did we mention that Kloss is only 17?
In an interview with Teen Vogue Kloss confessed:
“It’s ridiculously corny but I feel like I have the best of both worlds. I’m able to travel and work with these iconic people in the industry, and then come home to St. Louis, go to school, and see [my best friend] Brittney and my friends in class. I just keep thinking how lucky I am that I haven’t had to sacrifice anything.”
And perhaps more telling:
“She baked me peanut butter cookies when she came in for her fittings,” marvels Alexander Wang. “How sweet is that? At the end of the day,” he adds, “even if you’re the most beautiful girl in the world, if you make everyone’s life miserable, you won’t get far. Karlie is a rare balance of beauty and personality.”
