Silver siren Miranda Kerr leads the Victoria’s Secret angels in sexy swimwear shoot

It’s certainly clear to see why Miranda Kerr has been labelled ‘the new Elle Macpherson‘.
Miranda, the girlfriend of Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, showed she has no trouble living up to Elle’s nickname The Body in a sexy new shoot for Victoria’s Secret.
The 26-year-old model looks stunning in the catalogue for the lingerie company’s swimwear line, and smoulders in both a silver metallic bikini and a yellow leopard-print number.

And while Miranda clearly has no issues showing off her slimline figure in the tiny two-pieces, she acknowledged that some women need a little help in the bust-boosting department.
The stunning Australian model recommended a halterneck top and low-rise bikini bottoms as the best shape for all bodies, adding: ‘The banded top gives you the support you desire, as well as enhancing gorgeous cleavage.’

But Miranda wasn’t the only one showing off the new swimwear designs with her incredible figure.
Alessandra Ambrosio, who has a 18-month-old daughter, wears a selection of two-pieces in the new catalogue, including an embellished triangle bikini with side-tie bottoms.
However, despite millions of women undoubtedly envying her figure, Alessandra recently admitted she is not happy with her body shape.
She said: ‘I wish I had a bigger butt. A little bit more booty wouldn’t hurt. When I was pregnant I had a much bigger booty and I was very happy with it.’

While the majority of the bikinis being styles sure to be seen on the beach this summer, there was one particular swimsuit which is likely to strike fear in the hearts of women worldwide.
The bizarre one-piece, modelled by 23-year-old beauty Lindsay Ellingson, features a string going up the front of the body – leaving the rest of the torso completely bare.

Despite having been signed up to Victoria’s Secret in 2007, the 2010 Swim catalogue was Lindsay’s first foray into posing in swimwear.
But photographer Russell James, who is dating Sex and the City star Kristin Davis, was thoroughly impressed with Lindsay on the shoot.
He said: ‘She is an extraordinary beauty. But this was her first time in swim and in swim wear it really is about positioning and shaping the body. Her runway training really played into swim.’
