The National Football League career of Tom Brady is now getting an examination worthy of Tony Romo and his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson. Some in the Boston media are hinting that lingerie model Gisele Bundchen, now Brady’s wife and the mother of one of his children, is a distraction to the All-Pro quarterback.
Brady is the star of the New England Patriots, but the team was eliminated in the NFL playoffs by the Baltimore Ravens during “Wild Card Weekend” and some are blaming Brady’s poor play and in turn, Gisele.
Brady scoffs at the notion. “Hopefully because I got married, that doesn’t affect the way I play quarterback,” the star signal caller told a local radio station. Fans may want to look at the brass.
The Patriots coaching staff and front office made some atrocious decisions before and during this season, and though Brady and company were able to ‘will’ the team to the playoffs, without a good defense or star running-back, the team had little hope of a successful playoff run.
The Patriots need quite a few things to get back to the top next season. The team needs a big boost for the running game and some additions on defense that can deliver on the field.
If they are able to make some off-season moves and have a decent draft, the wins will follow and no one will be complaining about the quarterback’s supermodel wife.
