Carla Bruni Becomes A Grandma

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni welcomed a new grandson Wednesday, the Daily Mail UK reports. The baby, born to Sarkozy’s son Jean, 23, and his wife Jessica Sebaoun-Darty, will be the first grandchild for Bruni and she is “thrilled and delighted” by the news.
“Being a grandmother isn’t very rock and roll, but she’s still very happy. She has an official title which she is very proud of, and sees no reason why being a grandmother should affect her music career,” said a source close to Bruni.
There’s no word yet on the baby’s name.
