Joanna Krupa, from “Dancing with the Stars” to Playboy Cover Model

If watching beautiful supermodel Joanna Krupa on Season 9 of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” wasn’t close enough to naked for you (and given some of the costumes on “Dancing With The Stars,” naked is just about what many of the female dancers are), then the news that Joanna Krupa is also the cover model for Playboy’s December issue should be an early Christmas present. And since Joanna Krupa is still on “Dancing With the Stars” as one of the five star finalists, there’s still the chance that a literal naked moment might take place — a wardrobe malfunction, if you will. But Playboy takes all the malfunctioning part out of the equation and gets the 30-year-old Polish supermodel naked for an 8-page spread. If Joanna Krupa isn’t eliminated in next week’s round of “Dancing With The Stars,” she just might have an unfair advantage (as if being a tall, beautiful supermodel who looks good on the dance floor wasn’t unfair advantage enough).
But what about Chelsea Handler’s Playboy cover, you that keep up with current Playboy trivia might ask? Wasn’t Chelsea Handler, the host of late night’s “Chelsea Lately,” supposed to be on the cover of the December Playboy? The answer to that is “Yes, she was.” And she will be. The Christmas edition (December issue) of Playboy magazine will hit newsstands on November 13, and there will be two separate covers: one with talk show host Chelsea Handler and another with supermodel Joanna Krupa.
According to AceShowbiz, the Chelsea Handler Playboy cover, which Jay Leno unveiled on his show last week, will only appear on newsstands. The Joanna Krupa Playboy cover will appear on both newsstands and in subscribers’ mailboxes. (It would be interesting to find out the sales results — the raw data, as it were — of the two covers as a comparison study: Which one of the newsstand covers will sell the most?)
