Tyra Gets Shorties…and Some Work Done?
Tyra Banks has begun casting for cycle 13 of America’s Next Top Model, focusing only on contestants under 5’7”. Although she may be trying to redefine the standards of beauty, rumors are swirling that Tyra herself has had some work done to achieve the perfect runway look.Supermodel Tyra Banks is attempting to spice up her reality series, America’s Next Top Model, which many believe has run its course. According to E! Online, Tyra has begun casting for her upcoming cycle 13 and requiring that all girls be less than 5 feet and 7 inches. E! also says the turnout has been tremendous.
The Sports Illustrated swimsuit superstar has a well known rep as being a Drama Queen with a capital D. She even has her own talk show in which many believe that all she does is talk about herself. Tyra is rumored to have many an enemy in the mad modeling biz (ahem, Naomi Campbell), but she is often a tabloid target due to some juicy plastic surgery gossip!
In the past Tyra has been extremely adamant that she has “never” gone under the knife. She even had a plastic surgeon come onto her talk show to proclaim to the world that Tyra’s boobs were in fact what God had given her. She then stated, “I am totally against plastic surgery. A lot of people think I have breast implants because I have the biggest boobs in the business. But I was a 34C when I was 17.”
Unfortunately for Tyra, not many believe her. There has also been speculation surrounding Tyra’s nose. Ear, nose and throat specialist Dr. Stephen Grifka has said, “She originally had a broader nose, and now it appears to be significantly narrower and thinner. It’s possible that a nasal implant, which can be made out of the person’s own cartilage or from a synthetic, rubbery material, was placed inside the nose to give it a taller, thinner bridge.”
Celeb news site Propeller also hypothesized that Tyra has undergone a cheek injection procedure. Apparently the Victoria’s Secret babe might have a few secrets of her own.
