Karl Lagerfeld has designed a bowl for Dom Perignon Champagne inspired by the German supermodel Claudia Schiffer‘s breasts. Lagerfeld’s so-called ‘boob bowl’ (pictured, inset, with Schiffer), which is perched on three porcelain bottles and retails at $3,150, is said to be a modern version of a bowl that was made for Marie Antoinette in 1787. Legend has it that it was the exact size of one of the French queen’s breasts and was used in turn as a template for the universal cup-shaped champagne glass………… Hollywood actor Matt Dillon has been charged with driving at excessive speeds in Vermount, Co Orange, USA, and, if convicted, could face three months in jail………… Andrew Sachs, the Fawlty Towers actor who was at the centre of the BBC row involving Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross, is to appear on the Channel 4 programme Countdown.
