Pete Doherty Tries to Win Back Kate Moss… By Giving Her a Ring Made from a Dead Cat
File this one under freaky and weird. Pete Doherty is trying his darnedest to win back supermodel Kate Moss. Ever since it has been rumored that her relationship with Kills frontman Jamie Hince, 39, Kate and Pete have been texting up a storm.
Instead of a nice bouquet of flowers, Pete has decided that jewelry is the best way to win back her affections. But if you thought he’d just hop on down to the local jewelers and pick out a nice sparkler, you’d be wrong. Pete,, 29, is going above and beyond, having a piece specially commissioned for Kate 34. And it’s no ordinary ring either – it’ll be made from the ashes of his dead cat Shelley, who was a Kate’s favorite cat when they were dating last year.
Pete has commissioned the piece from the US-based company LifeGem, and according to insiders, Pete is planning to give it to Kate. He’s hoping that it will help him win her back.
Kate is rumored to have dumped Jamie Hince because eh was spending too much time with bandmate Alison Mosshart.
